"My paintings are subjective images from the bounds of the creative power and vulnerable transience - Showing what and how can be born out of me in the here and now. I am using natural silk as the intermediary agent for my paintings, representing both the frustration and the opportunity for transformation given to us by the transition between life and death.”
My name is Ildika Alda, I am a Silk Painter Artist and Naturopath from Budapest, Hungary.
I began silk painting as a practice of self expression which created a relaxed state and hightened energy level for me.
For the past 15 years, I have been conducting silk therapy workshops for disadvantaged women.
With my friends I founded an association to support beginner silk artists.
